When prayers seem Ignored
We won't get all the things we ask for in prayer; Not because God breaks his promises, not because we are not deserving. We have expectations that God will answer our prayers because he loves us. God's love is unconditional, but understand that his promises have conditions attached. When your expectations are not met through prayer, take a moment to look deep inside, are you obedient to God's word?
We must delve more into understanding the scripture. When you are aware of the behavior expected of you by God, you will better understand his response to what you ask of him. If you apply for a loan, the bank has expectations. You must be creditworthy, have a reasonable income, and a history of employment, all the things that say_ I am reliable, and not a credit risk. There are credit scores that rate you based on your behavior in handling credit_ equifax, trans union, and experian, will show you no mercy. But, God is merciful and patient. He alone has compassion for our shortcomings, _ not the bank.
God is wise with his responses to our request. He considers his plan for your life, are you a persistent sinner_ do you love, honor and obey HIM_ not to earn favor, but because the relationship with him requires work. If you show God you are faithful to Him, He is faithful in meeting our needs, and some of our wants. No prayer goes unanswered_
Obstacles
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
—Psalm 37:5
In everything I do, Your will must be uppermost in my life, Lord. I, as Your child, trust You to lead me.
There are many obstacles in life that only God can fix. We can see the problem, but cannot see the one's behind it. This is the time we pray and give it over to God. We know that God did not bring us into a world just to be punished, neglected or mistreated. That is not his WILL. This we KNOW.
To know the will of God is to have great wisdom. Living in the center of God’s will rules out all falseness of religion and puts the stamp of true sincerity upon our service to God. You can be miserable with much, if you are out of His will, but you can have peace in your heart with little, if you are in the will of God. You can be miserable with wealth and fame, out of His will; but you can have joy, if you are in the will of God. You can have agony in good health, out of His will, but you can be happy in the midst of suffering, if you are in God’s will. You can be miserable and defeated in the midst of acclaim, if you are out of His will; but you can be calm and at peace in the midst of persecution, as long as you are in the will of God.
The Bible reveals that God has a plan for every life, and if we live in constant fellowship with Him, He will direct and lead us in the fulfillment of this plan.
Problem Solving
Since the beginning of time, humans have experienced life’s challenges and storms that seemed unmanageable; but in those moments of being challenged, humans always found an answer. Perhaps they thought themselves incapable or ignorant to the challenge, but solutions are often found - when there are no known answers. In these moments of the unknown, humans have always sought direction through their spirituality. It is this spirit that provides us the unique ability to comprehend and understand, then work toward a victorious outcome. The human spirit is the breath of life. It is the unseen force that connects every human being to God. It is the connection that makes the human spirit an” indomitable spirit.”Your spirit represents the active presence of God in the world , and in the lives of believers. Along with the presence of God in your spirit, lies intellect, emotions, fears, passions, and creativity. These things support our ability to face any challenge, obstacle, or any detour, and come out victorious.
The peace you needed in those trying times, is in you. Keep your spirit fully nurtured and maintained through prayer and meditation. A healthy spirit_ in the foundation to an intimate relationship with the Holy Father. There_ you find peace.
Deep within the human spirit, it is the desire to live, that has pushed and inspired solutions that solved many problems.
Is their Normalcy in Life
What does normal mean? Has life ever been without concerns, worry and fretting? As I think back, I never thought that life was normal. It may have been a continuous period of love, learning, and growing, but as soon as you are accustomed to the constant flow of goodness_ something in life breaks the cycle. Life's experiences have shown that there are periods of good events and not good events.
When you understand the seasons in the flow of life_ you accept it and honor your Father in heaven who makes it palatable.
