Life will humble you and never send any kind of warning.  We speak of the unexpected events or circumstances that cross our path_  but is it possible to prepare for these unexpected events? Regardless of your circumstances, you are never alone. In these moments that disrupt your peace, trust God.

 The Lord sits on His throne of Grace_ waiting for your request for guidance.  Put your doubts, fears and problems in His hands as you humble yourself before him. Listen for the whispering and stirrings of the Divine Spirit in your life, He walks  with you. 

Allow the spirit to move in your life, then let your faith open your ears and eyes to God's response.  When your life returns to normal, nurture your relationship with God, through service, prayer and immersion in His Word. Then_  you are always prepared to face the unexpected.

 

Your Faith Savings Account

As complicated as checking accounts are, we learned the skills and made the effort to avoid an overdraft. Checking accounts require deposits before a withdrawal can be made- if there is not enough to cover a draft, you are penalized with a fee. Now_ what if God operated his blessings on that principle_ where would you stand? 

 Is there always a sufficient balance in your faith account?  It will reflect the time or deposits you contribute in communion with the Holy Spirit. We should count our blessings that God does not operate as our banks whose policies show no mercy or grace. But_ whose rules are you most likely to obey?

 Because God is merciful_ he will continue to walk with you, answer your prayers, and love you unconditionally. He is omnipotent, he rules all things. Banks will fail you, _ but God is considerate and consistent. Let's remember _ He is the only sure thing in this world, so we must make more deposits to our Faith account.

 
 Guardian Angel Prayer

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom God’s love commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard, to rule and guide.

Amen.

“O holy Angel, my faithful guardian, whom God has given me as a companion from the beginning of my life, I thank you for all the benefits you have bestowed upon me. I beg you to guard me against all dangers, especially against the temptations of the enemy. Defend me, I beseech you, and obtain for me the grace to remain faithful to God until the end of my days.   Amen.”
